A college student has received an 11-year jail sentence and a 20,000-yuan ($2,928) penalty for distributing cell phone pornographic videos and photos amid an ongoing nationwide crackdown on mobile Internet porn, the China Youth Daily reported Sunday.

The Public Security Bureau of Wuxi, Jiangsu province had received tip-offs from local students’ parents on November 26, 2009 that a domestic Net user was running a cell phone porn website using an overseas server.
